It's important to be very patient while you wait for your sister to get off the course.
When you play miniature golf...
you should always keep your eyes on where the ball is going and not where it actually is.
When you play miniature golf...
never bend down to get your ball out of the hole
while your sister perfects her one-handed swing.
When you play miniature golf...
and if you are thirteen years old,
...you should be so embarrassed while you putt because you know that EVERYONE IN THE PLACE is watching you!
When you play miniature golf...
ooohh...that's not good.
When you play miniature golf...
it is important to look your best, but never, NEVER play with your shoes on. You might mess them up.
When you play miniature golf...
it is important to let Dad go last.
After all, he is going to cream everyone and it is important that the children believe, for just one hole, that they have a fighting chance at winning.
And when it gets to be too much and too hot, just confide in the smiling fence post. (How funny is that?)
and it is almost too hot to continue living, much less concentrate on your game, stick with Grandma. She won't make you follow any rules!
When you play miniature golf...
take time to smell the roses...
or hug the bears. Whichever comes first.
When you play miniature golf....
it is important to take notice of how cute your Grandma Jackie is when she plays. You have those same genes and may be that cute when you're a Grandma someday!!
When you play miniature golf.....
strike a cute pose as your sister yells,
"Let's go find some 'air-conditioners!"...
and then sweet talk your Daddy into (another) bottle of some sort of 'ade" (If I had known 13 years ago what I know now, we would have bought stock in the stuff.) You then ask Daddy for so much of it that the guy at the snack bar feels sorry for your Daddy and starts giving him an employee discount.
When you play miniature golf...you make lots of fun memories!
The End. :-)
